Background

Fertility preservation is not the first thing talked about when you receive a cancer diagnosis, yet it's an important consideration for your future life and family planning.

We were tasked to create an approachable, youth focused brand that is engaging and presents the facts in simple clear language. The style needed to be distinct from other clinical Oncofertility resources.

Approach

An initiative of Fuck Cancer, we wanted to keep a visual link to their core brand, yet allow this brand to have its own feel. Users will be sent directly from often conservative partner organisations, so Take Charge needed to have a softer tone and be more sympathetic to the topic than the Fuck Cancer brand.

Outcomes

We created a vibrant and energetic brand that was well received by the audience. After the accompanying social campaign the website received a dramatic increase in website traffic raising awareness for the cancer fertility discussion.
